ryaw is a Japanese brand founded by designer Manabu Kataide. With a theme of integrating technology and organic elements, the brand pursues unique manufacturing. Through an experimental approach to materials and design, ryaw proposes functional yet organic clothing that evokes the contrast between nature and artifice, utilizing independently developed processing techniques and forms. Patterns and silhouettes are constructed through technical trial and error, while details are interspersed with playful expressions that invite deep thought. The product line, drawing diverse inspiration from plants, medical equipment, and more, radiates originality unconstrained by traditional frameworks, bringing a new perspective to everyday style. The brand offers a wide range of items, including bags, jackets, and tops, catering to both men and unisex.
